Last post I was going to Indiana.
What a busy time since than. Had a great time in Indiana, got home for one week and than took off to Montana. I than adventured to the west coast, Oregon with John and his Montana family.
Had a greattttttttttttttt time and saw alot of beautiful America.
Found out what is was like to really camp out. That was great. Gabe and I spent alot of time in the back sit of the car. He is very smart and is a great traveler.
Needless to say that I was tired after all of the traveling. At that at that point I had no idea what was ahead of me.
Go to Houston!!!! Yes now I commute to Houston everyday to work. Girling made a change and I had to go with it. I love the people I work with. This week the computers were down in Houston so I came to work in Wharton for a afternoon and morning. Found out that I am glad to be in Houston. Wharton group are just to gossipy. Is that a word? I think that you get the message.
Well, the week I started traveling to Houston, Deanna and the girls came home. Busy, times, but they were great. Thanks to Billy we had a great barbecue on Sunday and were able to go to the beach on Saturday. Thanks Bill for being the man of the weekend. We all had a great time!
I love having all the girls together, Amanda, Deanna, Sue, and Ann. I am so blessed with such great children. Now, do not forget the grandchildren! Garrett, Lance,Shelby, and Tessa all were great Saturday night when the girls went out for a night out. The funniest part of the time? I think it has to be when Deanna sat on Garrett when he was trying to sleep on the couch Saturday morning. Needless to say that was a rude awaking! Woke up the rest of the house!
Now, all are back in their homes. The house is quiet and I am trying to get it straightened up.
Getting ready for the next great visits.
Yesterday, Saturday, 08/08/08, I took Grandma Heimann to see her sister, Evelyn Holub in Houston. She is dying of lung cancer. That was a tough one. Will let all you know when something happens with that. I really do not think she will be with us to much longer. She was always such a happy person and it was hard to see her so sick. Grandma is a trooper. She just says"what can you do. That is just the way it is. " It is not going to be easy when she does pass and the funeral is not going to be easy. Life is life, what else is there to say.
Grand ma and I did have lunch with Sue and then I took her shopping for her birthday.
All try to send Grandma a birthday card on August 21. She thinks of all of you all the time.
Ed and Anna along with Brian's wife and kids are going to Brain's graduation from boot camp.
He has been in basic training in Alabama since June 4the and graduates on Aug14. He will be home in October. They are also going to Arkansa to see Lisa. Coy and her are now stationed in Little Rock, Arkansa for 2-3 years.
Better close for now. Need to get ready for church. This afternoon Dad and I are going to Ryan's grandma services in Rosenberg. She died on Friday.
Sam Halbert, remember our neighbor, is in hospice now also. Ruby is so sweet. It has been hard seeing her gradually lose him. They were a living love story. You kids know what I mean.
See ya! Love mom.
