CATHCH UP

Well, due to request I feel like I need to make an attempt to update this blog since I have not posted in two months.
It has been a busy two months. First, Dad and I were getting ready for Justin and Susan to move in. We did get the garage room cleaned up as you know, because Susan and Justin are living in it.
Then it came Christmas. No need to say any more. As you all know it was a great one. Missed the Reeves and the Heimanns from Montana, but we all know that one Christmas we will be al together again. The main thing is that all are well and healthy and that everone had a great Christmas where ever they were at. Thanks to Amanda, these blogs have made being apart alot easier. I start reading and I get so involved in the picture and story I feel that I am there or alot closer. I finish reading and I go "That was a great visit!". Keep the pictures coming. I will try to do better. As you all know I am not that good at doing pictures. Now that Susan is here, whenever we get time I will do a better job. Susan and Justin went to his parents this afternoon, so I decided to just write and get pictures on the next one.
I had a great birthday! Thanks for all the great gifts and cards. As always my kids showed me that I have the best kids in the world! Bill and Amanda had a great meal. Garrett organized the party. He told us what we should do. It was "light the candles--sing happy birthday---blow out the candles---eat cake---party games".. What party games Garrett? Pinata? Let me tell you Garrett knows what a party should be like!
Today Robert and I went and got a new wash machine. We got a Maytag--the best--yea right!!!
We will see how it does. It has a drum capacity of 3.3. It does hold alot of clothes. The other washer would not spin out the clothes and our light bill went uppppppppppppp! We will see if this will make a different. Of course, everyone's electric bill went up. I gues will start eating by candle light more and go to bed early.
Dad is working 10 hour night shift. Last week he worked 61 hours. He had worked 8 hours on Saturday. He was suppose to get a nap today. Well, by the time we got the washer, he did his dollar store shopping, and wrapped the pipes it was 5:00pm. So much for a nap....
As everyone knows this is going to be a cold week for us in Texas. Those that live in Montana and Indiana expect to have ice. Us Texans have to realy get ready for this type of weather.
Lubbock as you saw on Ann's and Ryan's blog had ice. I was glad that Ryan did not get hurt when he fell on the ice.
Well, I guess that is all I have to say. I will post some pictures. All take care and keep on blogging!
