Gabe

As you can see Gabe sleeps like his dad with his hand over his head. The last post I did not know that the picture transferred. That was taken on the way back from the airport when I first got there. This is Gabe after his tummy was full. His dad had bought him that outfit to wear to Grandma Pat's house on Sunday for a Thanksgiving dinner.
Not much going on. Was on call this week so I kept low around the house. Glad this week is over. All I have is tomorrow yet. Only 2 patients to see unless something unexpected comes up.
Just finished a movie, so now I am off to bed.

Monatan News

Well, we have been in baby land here in Montana. Monday we went to Missoula for Melani's check up and brought her grandmother to the air port. Missoula is so pretty. The airports at Missoula and Kallispell are realy small. Like one large building . Tuesday Gabe was circumsided (sp?). Today Wednesday it was quiet. We were able to stay at home . I watched two movies. The weather is nice and cool. I have really enjoyed it.
My flight leaves at 2:00pm on Saturday and I should be home by 9:00pm. Vacation will be over. That is ok. Just go back to work to earn some more.
All take care. Mom from Montana

Snowing in Montana

Well, as all of you know by now I made it to Montana. The flights were good. The fist plan was small. It was strange for it did not have sit number 13. At Salt Lake City I made the switch to the flight to Kellispel. Our landing was delayed due to AIR FORCE TWO landing in front of our plan and we had to circle the airport.
It had snowed her on Sunday and everything is still covered with snow. It is so pretty. Tonight it started snowing again and but it probably will not stick. It is suppose to be an ice storm in the morning or during the night. We will see when we get up tomorrow morning.
Gabe is precious just like all my other grandchildren and I thank the Lord that he gave me this chance to be here. It will be something when I get all four together. That does not matter. The main thing is that I have been so blessed to have these precious grandchildren that are healthy. LIFE IS GOOD!!!!!!!!!
Of course my fist blessing was to have 5 great children, second that they all found great signicant others and now third I have theses wonderfull grandchildren. Could not get any better.
Take care and I will keep all posted. Love mom

BIG HOME COMING

Well, the Montana Heimanns are coming home today. I spoke with John and Melanie today. They are ready to get back home. Can not blame them. Gabe did develope some jaundice and has spend some time in a bilirubin blanket. Things have changed. Now they have these blankets to wrap around them and it does the same as those bilirubin lights. I am so glad that they created something different . I hated those lights. I felt the baby was so exposed and you had to cover their little eyes to protect them from the ultraviolet rays. They say wrapped in the blanket Gabe is like a little "glow worm." They have to take him to the hospital in Polson tomorrow to have his bilirubin checked again. Good thing the hospital is just a few blocks away. John said to look for pictures on the hospital web site, because they took pictures yesterday to post on it. He said when they get home, as soon as he gets a chance he will post pictures.
Better go for now. Dad and I are going to babysit Garret and Lance tonight so Bill and Amanda can go to a Halloween party. Take care and all have a good night. Love mom

GABE'S BIRTHDAY

As everyone knows by now there is a New Heimann in Montana! Weight 8lbs 15 oz. John said that he has alot of blonde-brown hair and long eyelashes.
I talked to John about 9:35 pm and Melanie was in her room--111.
Gabe had already nursed in the Recovery Room.
John just had a cot brought into the room. They will be staying there for about 3 days.
They are at Community Medical Center, Missoula, Montana.
The phone number to the hospital is 406 728 4100 and she is room 111.
Need to try to get some sleep. This has been a long day. John had called me about 6:00 am and told me they were at the hosptital. Since then it has been waiting for phone calls.
This having a baby in another state is difficult!!!!!!!

Robert fished for about an hour at Palacios and he loved wearing his yellow fishing shirt. This top picture is at Matagoridia . It was a rought sea with rain coming in. The bottom picture is of the the beach were we had so much fun.

Susan come over today and showed me how to get this pictures on the blog. Like she said is simple once you know how.

We had good Sunday today. Mary Ann and Uncle Johnnie came over for hamburgers for lunch and stayed till 3:oo pm. I then made cinnimon rolls and Susan and Justin come over for supper . Robert did some steaks on the grill and baked potatoes. We sent them back to San Marcos full.
Well, 10 more days until I take off to Montana. I have been getting my warm clothes together . When I get back I got to start working on Christmas. Also, another thing I am working on is Susan and Justin's move. I have been cleaning out things and all is going well with that project. Robert is working nights so I have time in the afternoons to get alot done.

Ann just called and said that her a Ryan are going to light their fire place tonight. That should be and experience for her. She is supose to call me back and give me repor.
I will close for now. I will have a busy week at work this weel. The girl I work with in intake will be out all week. It will be a challege to take care of intake by myself. It should go fine and be a fast week. Next week end I am going to take care of Lance and Garrett. I am looking forward to that .

Sunday

We had a great day today. As I said yesterday, we were going fishing. The alarm clock went off at 5:30 am. "You did want to go, didn't you," said dad as I laid there. "Sure, let's go".
We were in Palacios by 7:00 am and the wind was blowing. We drove around and Dad did go out on the rocks and fished for about an hour. I sat and read my new James Patterson mystery.
About 8:30am Dad then proceed to show me all the places he had gone fishing with the boys in P alacious and trans palacios river. We did make it down to Matagordia and boy was it different thene we were there. The rain had been moving in all the long the way and the wind was something else in Matagordia. I took some pictures of the rough waves. I took pictures of dad fishing and Sue will be here next weekend so maybe she can help me get them in folders so I can put them on the blog.
From Matagordia we came home through Bay City and ate atttttttt Diamond's!. That was Dads favorite place to eat when he worked the vending route with Svateks. He said that it was alittle lareger and we did enjoy the food. So Dad had a day of traveling to places that he really enjoyed with the family. He would say,:" Don't you remember we came here twice with all five kids to fish.?" I told him I must have been a busy mom than and did not put that down in my memory. But you know he has agreat memory for places and things.
We got home around 1:oopm and than he helped me rearrange the blue room to get a book shelf that I had bought him for his books. I found at a used furniture store and it is perfect. He is trying to collect all kind of series now. Anyone need a book? Come to Robert's Boookshelf
Dad is making steaks for supper even though it is raining on and off. With our little propane grille we have gotten spoiled and love your steaks.
I hope all are well and enjoyed reading about Robert's birthday weekend. By the way, the cake turned out great! Love all

OCTOBER 14

Well, I am trying to post a picture from my camera and I guesss it still did not work. Well, practice makes perfect. We had a good day today. Dad and I went to Walmart and I surprised hem with getting his fishing licsences. Well, he decided to do the whole thing and he got deer , turkey, and what ever. I do believe that I surprised him. Now, I just got through finishing making his birthday cake--German chocolate form stratch. I know why I do not do that cake often. Takes to many pots and pans. Well, I got the kichen all clean up and now Dad will come in and make his tea. Even though they are talking about rain tomorrow, we are still planning on getting up early and going down to Palacios to check it out. As soon as we got home from church Dad was out there getting his fishing gear together. I think I did good by lighting a fire to get him going fishing again.. I have a good book to read, so it should be nice.
I hope all are doing well. I am enjoying keepping up with everyone on the blogs. Keep up the good work and I will try to do more. For now have a good Sunday!

SUNDAY---A DAY OF REST???/

Today was Sunday, Oct. 1 st. Even though it is Sunday Dad fetl like it was time to dig a new burn hole.. I said, " It is much to hot!" He said, " It got to be done and there is a breeze down there. " I felt guilty staying in a cool house, so I joined him. I am trying to down put pictures on my blog that I took today to tell the story, but I can not do it.
Dad brought me an early birthday and Christmans present, a digital camera. He down loaded them down on the computer and now I am trying to get them on here. Help! I neede some teachers.
Well, at least I finally put something on my blog. Dad did get the hole dug and I hauled the dirt on the lawn mower to the front flower bed. Needless to say we are both tired.
This week I am going to work on getting my ticket to Montana. Again, some one call be one afternoon and help me. I know you'll are always busy in the afternoon. My afternoon's will be quite now because Dad goes back on nights.
I posted by favorite beach picture take at Matagordia. My plans are to get an 8x 10 of it and frame it for the living room .. It captures a beutiful sunset for an awesome day.

TIME TO CATCH UP

It has been awhile since I have posted. I think I have been talking to all of you on the phone. Let's see, what is new? Dad is on days of six weeks. I needed to have my husband at home for a while. I was starting to get lonesome at night. Yea, when I get home supper will be cooked. He gets home around 4:00 and I don't get home till 5:30. No more running around after work.
Tomorrow, August 21st is Grandma's birthday. She will be 79. She works as hard as every.
I was on call this week and I will be so glad when tomorrow gets here. 8:00am I will be able to be a free person again. Every night last week I had something to deal with.
Latest on Emily. Well, Friday morning at 6:00 am she called and said that her house was flooded. A pipe had broken in her bathroom on one end of the house and when she stepped in the hall in the other end of the house the water was there. She had water all over her house. That poor woman is always having something. So check your little pipes on the back of your commode and make sure they are holding strong. As you can see I found a neat old picture. Who can tell me where this was taken. I think it is so neat.
All have a good week. mom

Auguest!!!

I can not believe it is August. School will start again and the roads will get congested again. That is interesting. Now school to me means congested roads since there is no one her to see off the school. Thats ok. I have been a couch potatoe the last two nights. Monday night I watch two movies and tonight I watched another. Tomorrow night I need to get something done.
We had a great time on our anniversy. We ate at Salt Grass Steakhouse. When we were finished I was so full and content that I told Dad that we need to just rent a movie and go home. That night we watched Firewall with Harrison Ford. It was good.
I tried to load a picture but it did not work.... Need to take a shower and get to bed.

34th Anniversity

Yes, It has been 34 years since I took my wedding vows. The day went by fast, four of you know that. Wedding days take alot of preparation and in a blink of the eye it is over. Julius and Gloria had a nice celebrataion last week for their forty ann. I forgot that I was in the wedding. Robert looked at the wedding pictures and said, Were you that thin. Unbelievable how thin a person can be before five children and 34 years of living. We are getting ready to leave. I will post more later.
Something for us women: GOD MAY HAVE CREATED MAN BEFORE WOMAN, BUT THERE IS ALWAYS A ROUGH DRAFT BEFORE THE MASTERPIECE!

HOME IN MONTANA

This is John and Melanie's home in Montana. The front door goes into a "mud room". Deana and Toby know about this. It is the room where you leave all your wet clothes from the snow. Taco loved this room because the sun would shine through the windows and he would lay on the couch in there.

This is the back of the house. You can see it is a sweet little older home that John and Melanie worked on . Before we left we worked on the nursery. I will show pictures next posting.

TRAVELING

As you can see we travel in many different positions while traveling. Taco is demostating two of his.

ON YOU SIDE

ON YOUR BACK

He always had the best places. Dad would sleep in the front passanger seat and try the back seat once. My favorite was the back seat while dad drove. Anyway you sat it still was not comfortable for 20000 miles. We will fly next time. Take care. More pictures coming.

More of Montana

This is the Montana couple. As you can see. Melanie is diffently pregnent. They were very surprised with the shower gifts.

These are pictures we took out the window as we were driving through Montana.

After Susie and Ryan showing me how to add pitcures, I think I might be able to do it. We will see if I get any more on.
We had a great day at Bill and Amanda's today. Ryan and Ann played in the sprinklers with the boys.. Garrett is a water boy. He loves that water. Lance follows whatever Garret does. He had great fun to day in a mud hole made by the sprinkler. He is so cute. Amanda has VBS with the boys this week. She has my blessings. They will have a busy week. Better close for now. More later.

Trip of a Lifetime

On our journey... It began on June 29th at 5:00pm. You can see from the picture it was going to be a challage to find places to stop. We found that Wal Mart were good, because they had big parking lots, gas, food, and what ever else was needed. We arrived at Anns and Ryan's at 3:00pm and got a couple hours of sleep and a great breakfas. We toke off from Lubbock at 6:30 and traveled all day. Robert finally played out about 12am and I drove throught Wyome for 2 hours. He then took over and we made it to Montana and stopped at a rodeside park and slept from 3 to 5. Yes, sun comes up at 5 in Montana. We started again. This was Saturday already and we made it to John's about 3:30 pm.. What a trip.

HUP DAY

YEA111 Hup day. Two more days till the weekend. I do have a busy week end. Saturday I am helping a coworker out and taking call and on Sunday we are going to San Marcos.
Can not believe I have gotten behind with posting.
First, the cat situation. Saturday night when we got home from Shiner, I actually had a message on the phone from Mrs. Labay apolizing for being so ugly on the phone. She said she was a bitch. I agree. I need to call her back but have not got around to it. Tomorrow if nothing comes up after work I am going to bring the three littel black and white kittens to Kleckas and see if I haave any luck. If I do not give all away then Friday I will go to Wal Mart. Got to make my big sign "FREE KITTENS".
I made water areobics on Tuesday and walked 2 miles tonight. Tomorrow I have water areobics again. At least I am trying. It makes me feel better just to know I did exercise.
Better close now. Timer about ready to go off. I am "washing that gray away" . Timer went off 20 minutes is over. Love all mom
